With a little help, Hailey can sit on her own for a short period and is quite interested in her hands and feet. She likes to pull hair and jewelry and has discovered some new squealing noises. She still enjoys watching hockey with her dad and always dresses for the occasion. She is mesmerized by the players on the ice -- so is daddy! On Tuesday we made it to strollercize class again and afterword joined several other moms and babies for coffee. Seems counter productive in terms of weight loss for us to do stollercize then have coffee with a jumbo muffin or banana bread. I try not to feel guilty though, I consider it breaking even on the calories. On Wednesday, we went to Anna and Kaitlyn's house for a visit. The kids enjoyed their playtime together. It is so nice to visit with mommy's that have kids the same age.

n Thursday, Hailey had her first haircut at the salon. She has nearly rubbed the hair off the back of her head, so Pam trimmed her little comb-over nicely. She sat pretty still checking out the mirrors and lights. It wasn't till Pam cut from the nape of the neck did Hailey start fidgeting. I kept some strands of her baby hair, funny though that there wasn't much to collect at the end, but it sure made a difference.Friday we went to Fort Saskatchewan for LeeAnn and Cory's wedding rehearsal. Hailey was quite disruptive at the rehearsal so she spent Saturday afternoon and evening with her Grandparent's while we went to the wedding.

The wedding was beautiful. LeeAnn was a beautiful bride and Cory a handsome groom. They had a wonderful day. LeeAnn was a bit disappointed in the weather. She planned for a February wedding with the assumption that there would be snow. Darcy and I used two cameras to capture the ceremony and reception. Darcy is eager to begin editing the footage to make a video. The reception was fun, with good meal and good speeches. They were short two members of their wedding party but the head table was still balanced...Sandra and Jeff both were missing, they were having their baby...I suppose that is an OK excuse to miss it.
