Delightful

Hailey is becoming very independent. She sits well on her own, plays with her toys and holds her bottle. She has started to pile up, knock down and throw her toys. She mimics hand movements, kicks her legs to splash in the tub and loves it when we play "This Little Piggy" with her toes. She observes us typing on the keyboard and then tries it herself, soon she will be updating her own web page. She is still enjoying the sound of her own voice and is delighted by the sound of her screams and shrieks, which draws quite a bit of attention in public.

Monday was Family Day, so Darcy had the day off. We went to Ken and Linda's for the afternoon and had a wonderful lunch. On Tuesday our friend Sandra popped by for a visit, she brought Hailey a cute, strawberry teddy bear. On Wednesday Hailey and I went into the city to do a little shopping. We found some new pictures for the living room. Thursday was not such a fun day for Hailey, she had to have her 6 month immunization. She was very brave though. She was measured and weighed and is a very healthy little girl.

On Friday Lesley and Brooke came over for a visit. Saturday and Sunday Hailey was not feeling well, she was very tired and irritable. She has bright red cheeks, we hope a tooth pops out soon, she looks very uncomfortable. Sunday evening Ken and Linda came over for dinner, while Hailey entertained us with her stories and her Jolly Jumping skills.
