The White Stuff

Since early November Hailey has been taking Gymnastics. She really like to do her own thing though, so following the rest of the group is a bit of a challenge. She particularly likes to play in the castle. I figure it is because she is our little princess.

Sunday morning Hailey woke bright and early and gave us some surprising weather news, she ran around squealing 'no (snow)...white...no' with delight. My enthusiasm for the white stuff certainly did not match hers.

We dressed up nice and warm and headed to the grocery store. Hailey was a bit crabby, she was completely out of sorts from daylight savings. She pretty much skipped her nap and then was a zombie all evening. Who'd have thought a 1 hour time change could have such an impact on a wee child. We had guests for dinner this weekend, our lake group came over for a meeting, the meal was good and Hailey was so interested in the Backyardigans that she didn't say a peep.
